Job Opportunity: Part-Time Police Records Clerk

Are you a detail-oriented individual seeking a part-time opportunity in a dynamic work environment?  We’re looking for a Police Records Clerk to join our team! The current hours for this position are 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday through Friday evenings, plus an additional 4 hours available weekly (to be determined upon hire for flexibility), for a total of 16 hours per week, minimum. Additional work and hours for this position may be available, but will be episodic, sporadic, and unpredictable, to include additional weekday and weekend hours, depending on department activity. 

Maybe you’re a college student, a retiree, or simply seeking a great part-time position that allows flexibility with the rest of your week.  Under general supervision, the Police Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining official police records; various communications responsibilities including operation of a police radio base station, answering the telephone, and performing a wide variety of responsibilities and clerical duties necessary to the operation of the police records function and related work, as required. 

This position does not include fringe benefits, but the starting salary range is $20.71 per hour for a candidate with no police records clerk experience, up to $25.73 per hour for a candidate with 9+ years of police records clerk experience.
